If you are participating in the Block of the Month for "Bridle Path" let's get together to work on the blocks. Each meeting we will work on the blocks but also you will receive the copy of Lynn's tutorial as well as the reading of Bridle Path's Journal to her Granddaughter. This promises to be a beautiful quilt as we step back in time to pay tribute to the brave women hired by the newly formed WPA during American's Great Depression.

Leave your worries and troubles at the door and join us for a stress free night of sewing. Finish up those quilts that have been patiently waiting to be made. Shop will be open so you can also shop. Bring a snack to share. Drinks will be provided.

Paper piecing made for beginning quilters or anyone who has never tried to paper piece. Make a beautiful modern quilt using a jelly roll. The "bead" blocks look rich and complex but are fun to make and can be addictive. They could really put a dent in any scrap pile. The pattern will help you create a wall hanging or a lap quilt of 54" x 60" but, adding additional rows and columns can easily turn this quilt into a bed quilt. Paper piecing patterns are included in the pattern purchase. Once again, this quilt requires a jelly roll.

Are you ready to up your skills in quilt piecing? Learn how to piece together this colorful leafy quilt using trapezoids, triangles, and diamond shapes to make this simple to assemble pattern. First class session, I'll demonstrate how to use the Creative Grids' Mini Diamond tool to cut all of your shapes. We will begin sewing the shapes together to create a hexagon leaf block during the second class. In our third class session, I'll demonstrate how to piece the blocks and filler blocks together into rows without using Y-seams, which will make sewing this quilt top much easier. Come and learn how to make this fun and simple to assemble fall quilt while building your skills in piecing unique shapes.

Come to the "goat" farm for a weekend of stitching, good eats, and prizes! Light breakfast and lunch will be provided both days while you sew your beautiful farmhouse quilt with the help of Pamela. This delightful quilt (60" x 69") features pieced blocks, Ohio Stars, and dainty flowered dresses appliqued on the clothesline. a darling Midwest country two-story house is appliqued for a sweet touch. You will become familiar with the star blocks, making several large and small. The applique is raw edge, fused and secured with the machine applique stitch. Lightbox tracing makes this project a breeze!

You will love this unusual method of designing and creating quilts. Instead of starting with a particular pattern or design and then trying to find fabric that will fit that pattern, this approach begins with the fabric: the fabric is the key element. Kaleidoscope blocks, each one unique, are produced by aligning the printed design on several layers of fabric and then cutting and sewing triangles together. Join educator Mindy Shirey as she walks you through every step from fabric selection to quilt top design in this fun and interactive class.

Get an early start on Christmas and make this set of vintage style wool ornaments for your decorating or tree. The pattern is by Buttermilk Basin and is available at the shop. These easy ornaments use fusible web, perle cotton, embroidery floss and buttons. They can be left plain or made extra fancy as desired. Kit available upon request for additional cost.
